Beer Review 60.5: Red Hook Long Hammer IPA Ballpark Review

Hello Beer Friends Nation!

Baseball!  This week the Beer Friends go on location and review Red Hook Long Hammer IPA from Citi Field, home of the Amazing Mets! (Although this Beer Friends was cheering for the Colorado Rockies!)  We all enjoyed the selection from the Big Apple Brews bar located behind the center field scoreboard AND on the 500 level behind Home Plate.  Great selection including Kona Brewing, Redhook, Goose Island and about 15 others – with a Blue Smoke and Shake Shack, Citi Field might be the perfect place to watch a game, if only we could do something about the home team…

Daily Beer Calendar Results!

Hello All!

Well after a week of voting, The Beer Friends are getting a pretty good view of what people have and haven’t tried… let’s see this little experiment continue and get a pulse of what people are drinking around the world!

Results:

January 1 – Edmund Fitzgerald Porter  – 38.46% have tried it

January 2 – Long Hammer IPA – 87.5% have tried it

January 3 – Cerveza Cucapa Honey – Nobody has tried it!  Get out and drink people!

January 4 – Spaten Munich Dunkel – 71.43% have tried it

January 5 – Cider Jack Hard Cider – 42.86% have tried it

January 6 – Buzzsaw Brown Ale – 16.67% have tried it

January 7 – Torpedo Extra IPA – 66.67% have tried it

Daily Beer Calendar Jan 1 – Jan 4

Hello Beer Friends Nation!

After the trains, airports, and car rides, the four Beer Friends are back safe in sound in NYC and come bearing gifts… mainly for ourselves but some we’d like to share.  One gift we got was a daily beer calendar and after looking at a few of the beers we thought… I wonder who has had any or all of these?  What better to answer this question than a poll?  So check back often as we hope to have daily poll’s a results of the daily beer calendar suggestions… so bookmark us and check back often for stats to impress your beer swigging friends!
