Hello Beer Friends Nation!
For you avid twitter followers out there, you’ll notice that the Beer Friends checked into a few Boston area Breweries earlier this week, this was part of our Boston Area Brewery Tour 2011 (Working Title), the first stop – appropriately enough – was the Harpoon Brewery off the Silver Line (you know, the weird bus line that goes underground in Boston). Harpoon was actually the first brewery issued a license in the state of Massachusetts, and proudly display their 001 Brewers License on merchandise.

I had a feeling. And not just the usual feelings, but the awesome feelings. The sort of feelings that let you know this is going to be a big week. A HUGE week. Seriously though, the closest example I would give for the events happening this week would be a planetary alignment with the center of the galaxy. It wasn’t organized by anything beyond cosmic happenstance but despite it’s coincidental nature, it’s pretty damn awesome. Well, this week you can thank The Beer Friends for taking the random alignment of super-awesome craft beer events and organizing them into a coherent list of what you should drink and where you should drink it. Let’s see what we’ve got…

Hello Beer Friends Nation! Good Beer Month continues into August with Harpoon Brewery at the Blind Tiger NYC. Harpoon Brewery is from Boston and a favorite of the two Red Sox fans in the Beer Friends. We miss New York City Good Beer Month already, quite a bit actually, and we’re not getting it back anytime soon, however that does not mean that the good beer has stopped flowing in this great city. July was a fantastic month, however we at the Beer Friends promise that August will not disappoint. The Beer Friends have some big announcements coming out this month, including some breaking beer news, special events and Beer Friends exclusive happenings. The 4th Annual NY Brewfest
All dressed up and nowhere to go on June 19th? Well you are in luck, my friend, because the 4th annual NY Brewfest just happens to be on that very day!
