Time and time again we have all found ourselves without a bottle opener in a time of need. What ever shall we do? Bottle Opener Belt Buckle you say? I don’t have any belt loops. Key chain? I left my keys at the beach house.
Bottoms Up is a bit more expensive, but lets you choose from a few colors of watch face and band and is a touch more modern style.
The Dark ‘N’ Stormy is my personal choice, a bit cheaper and the Retro styling looks better, but to each their own. Having an opener at hand at all times while looking this good is worth a look.

Our good friends over at Uncrate.com continue in their support of our beer brewing hopes and dreams by featuring the Northern Brewer Starter Kit from NorthernBrewer.com.
This kit seems to have everything you need to get you up and running brewing your own beer, minus a brewkettle and ingredients! At $80 this seems to be one of the less expensive homebrew kits available now, making it easier to join the Craft Beer Revolution.
It is March and here at the beer friends we are all swept up in bracket madness. We picked 32 beers to fight through a bracket to see which one would come out #1. Today is the first round of voting to help us decide the #1 BFFF Beer.
As a special offering for St. Patrick’s Day we bring you a Beer Friends BONUS!!! Our review of Harpoon’sCeltic Ale. A good middle of the road Red Ale, but is it something you’ll want to have to celebrate today? Check out the review to find out!!!
Here is this weeks six pack beer review! Blue Point Brewery from Long Island – a local favorite – and this Spring beer, a copper ale. This has all four Beer Friends, although somebody sucks at setting up the camera (Brad).
As a treat we have the very first Beer Review we recorded! Take a look, it’s fun to watch as we’re just getting our video sea-legs, so don’t hold it against us(wink wink), and if you can find some Magic Hat Howl this weekend, pick it up, it might be the last you see till next winter!
Old Chicago will always have a special place in this Beer Friends’ heart. My home bar – it’s a chain restaurant – is located on the North End of Colorado Springs off the Woodmen Exit. Old Chicago is a typical bar/restaurant, serving deep dish pizza, calzones, salad bars and pasta. What sets Old Chicago apart is the beer list.
Old Chicago is my Holy Grail of drinking. This is where I learned about beer, about good beer, and the difference between bottles and draft — basically my beer-education.
Hello! Beer Friends here checking out Long Trail Brewery night at The Pony Bar in Hells Kitchen, Manhattan. Long Trail is from Bridgewater Corners, Vermont and might have the most beautiful brewery ever… On the backside of the restaurant portion there is a outside eating area and a small brook running through – pictures to come later.
Here are some late thoughts on the night, but hell it’s a blog and you can read it anytime-enjoy! (more…)
The Beer Friends invade Williamsburg! Here live blogging at the Dark Matter invite only release party from Brooklyn Brewery. In the spirit of Black Ops (shhhh) and Manhattan Project comes Dark Matter, with 7.5 ABV this “robust” brown ale is a side project turned amazing pour. Greetings Friends of Beer! This week we take on the Fort Collins BreweryRocky Mountain IPA. Rocky Mountain since they’re in Colorado. I don’t know if it’s the altitude or the snow, but they seems to have a handle on how to blend a damn near perfect IPA. Check out the video for the details!
